How can I receive a food parcel?

Dorchester Foodbank is for people in financial crisis. However, in these uncertain times, we recognise that many more people may need help to provide food for themselves and their families. If you need support, please ask for help and advice.

You will need a referral to receive a food parcel and these can be obtained from health visitors, social workers, schools and colleges, church leaders and many other community and support organisations.

The main referrer to Foodbank is Citizens Advice, 1 Acland Road, Dorchester, DT1 1JW   Tel: 0800 144 88 48  www.centraldorsetca.org.uk

Citizens Advice also offer help and support for a wide range of problems including benefit issues, rent and housing queries and debt management.

  • Dorchester Foodbank operates an online referral system and a new referral is required for each food parcel.
  • Each referral is valid for 7 days from date of issue
  • We do not offer a delivery service (please contact us for possible alternatives)

Dorchester Foodbank is here to help anyone who needs support at this time.

Please remember that you’re not alone.
